Document Archiving for Microsoft Dynamics 365

Document Archiving lets you archive invoices, delivery notes, orders, and other reports directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365. The documents are automatically created as PDFs and securely stored in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. This reduces manual work, eliminates unnecessary filing steps, and creates a central, scalable archive.

Additional documents can also be stored directly within the workflow. Users can drag and drop contracts, emails, or other files directly into the open data record.

In addition to PDF, Metadata Export provides structured XML data for integrations, analyses, and automated follow-up processes.

How does automated sales invoice archiving work?

As soon as you generate a supported report, such as a sales invoice, in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM, a PDF is created automatically. A background process then archives it directly in the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage location you have defined. The entire process runs automatically, with no additional effort required from your staff.
